Are you eligible?
▪ Latin American Youth (male or female)
▪ Grade 12 students who are in the process of applying to College/Universities
▪ Have to be planning to attend College/University for 2010-2011 school year
What do the Youth need to do?
▪ Write an Essay (Needs to be 2-3 pages long)
▪ Theme: Will be around The International Women Day
▪ Copy your College/University Application
What are the 3 Questions they can choose from?
1. What Hispanic woman influenced you in your life? And what can you share of what you have learned from this person?
2. Identify what barrier Latin American women face in Toronto? and what can they do to
free themselves from these barriers?

Who will be the winners?
We will be picking 3 students with the best essay:
1st Place: Will receive $500.00
2nd Place: Will receive $350.00
3rd Place: Will receive $250.00
